ok, so this coffe cake is absolutely AMAZING!!
You can't have coffee cake w/out coffee!!
Here's the recipe for homemade coffee creamer. Any of the following would go great with the coffee cake..
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk and 1-1/2 cups skim milk
to add flavorings chose from the following:
Chocolate Almond: 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon almond extract
Vanilla: 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Cappuccino: 1 teaspoon almond extract, 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
Strudel: 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon almond extract.
Chocolate Raspberry: 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons raspberry syrup
My thoughts:
This recipe was very easy to make, I melted the butter for the topping , and I wouldn't reccomend it, it makes it too greasy. I had to add more flour. Also, I didn't sift the flour as the recipe calls for and it turned out fine. Afterward, I thought it would be a good idea to make extra topping and put some of it inside the cake..Hope ya'll enjoy!
You better have saved me some, my Hannie Em...looks delish! M<3M
